yo, i'm boredd ):

i spent this afternoon watching Bedtime Stories at home
wanted to go out to watch Sherlock Holmes, but was too lazyy :D

People always say that it's what you don't say that counts, bt if you don't listen to what is being said, how do you know what's left unsaid? - KJSHY :D

i couldn't fall asleep last night so i spent my time lying down, thinking.
& every single bitter thought i've had in the past year came back to me

i'm sick and tired of trying to be a friend when my 'friends' keep pushing me aside. it doesn't matter what i CAN do, all that always matters is what YOU cannot do. everytime i tell myself i won't let it bother me, you just do (or don't do) something that brings it right back to the start. i'm sick of having to pick up the pieces and be there for you when you're never there for me. i just don't know you anymore and it's not for the lack of trying. i'm tired of being pushed aside whenever something new comes up, then being blamed for NOT being a friend when i wasn't the one who walked out of the friendship in the first place. i'm sick of pretending to be someone i'm not just to fit in.

oh, there's another thing. me being accused of being tactless when it is me who gets hurt whenever you say something. you have no idea how much i think before actually saying anything. sure, my tongue was sharp at times, but at least i know what i'm doing. you claim that you don't hate anybody, but you manage to space people out of your life so well, even the supposed 'ignorant' people notice.

these past four years in secondary school have been the worst years of my life. i'm not being dramatic. the first two years, i spent my time building up friendships only to have them all pushed aside in the next two years. it doesn't matter that all my older friends tell me that most of the friends i make in secondary school don't stay with me when i go to JC or poly.

i only got one resolution for this New Year: new friends that will stick :D
i won't forget the old ones, the real friends

yes, we broke up. but that doesn't stop us from being friends :D

oh & i'll try my best to be more active in church :D
this means that i WILL go for the kuching missing trip next year
BUT only if there are stairs or i'd die trying to jump so many steps..

couldnt find, so bought mee goreng instead
my mum made me finish it cause she couldn't

i drank loads of water, feel damn bloated now..

i ate chocolate log cake! well, i ate the chocolate anyway :D
i chose the slice with the most chocolate & dug out all the chocolate :D

i forgot to find a stone to put my thumb print on..

i was sposed to find a worry stone today
touch it when you're worried and all your worries will go away
it doesn't actually work but it's a reminder
that it's pointless to worry cause it wont change anything

i have learnt the secret to saving a phone which has been dropped into water! :D
lol, read it on a friend's note on facebook, so i shall share :D

1. After dropping phone in water, DO NOT attempt to switch it on immediately. If you do, the battery will short circuit the phone. THAT's why the phone dies.

2. You MUST be patient [unless you can afford a new phone]. Leave your phone in a bag of rice for 2-3 days, turned off. The rice will absord the moisture, leaving it completely dry.

3. Take it out and put it on something warm, like the TV or fridge.

4. Switch on your phone, TADA~ magic :D

SAND & STONE

A story tells of two friends who were walking through the desert.

During some point of the journey, they had an argument and one friend slapped the other in the face. The one who got slapped was hurt but without saying anything, he wrote in the sand:

when we were on the bus, about to leave the kampong

the children's christmas party we threw was great :D
the kids were so damned happy to win those small prizes!

there was one kid who kept trying to snatch the prizes from me
so i gave he my christmas hat which he pulled over his head, SO CUTTEEEE! :D


then i ended up with another hat [idk how]
i gave it to this girl who was waiting patiently for a balloon flower
she wanted to return it to me after the party,
but when i told her to keep it, she was supeerrrrr happy :D

when party ended i had carol's hat with me & i wanted to get ridd of it
so i gave it to the band's leader singer, brian :D [yeah that's him, cute right!]

his reaction i was soo NOT expecting. he was ESTATIC.
OVER THE MOON, omg. he jumped off the stage & started asking my name
& intro-ing & all. omg, i was supeerrr supeeerrrrrr touched :D

we played tug of war with the kampong people, damn fun :D
girls vs girls & guys vs guys. both sg teams lost 3-2..
when the guys won their rounds, it was damn funny :D

you know why we won? because in singapore, we're so used to snatching things. kiasu!

we went on a jungle trek too, all the way to the waterfall :D
i twisted my ankle on the way cause of all the wet stones..
but the waterfall was damn coooool! :D [literally]
& something really funny happened there, but i wont say what :D

omg, my host family was sooo nice & generous :D
i mean, thay have very little, but they shared everything they had
their house is huge though, more then x2 the size of mine
i envy them, how great it must be to wear nothing but a sarong all day long :D

the dad went out to 'judge' something early early in the morning
we don't know where the bro went, we only saw once in our 2 nights there..

OH! i rode on a motorbike! heheheh, it's freaking fun :D
the riders love to speed up when going downhill, WHEEEEE~~ :D

Apparently laws of physics no longer apply at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. This morning I was asked whether I wanted my medium latte in a small cup. I was stunned and happy at the same time. I had no idea Coffee Bean was allocating enough resources into research and development where they could figure out how to put things in containers smaller than the volume of the thing in question. Wow! After I paused for a second, I realized that I was probably giving a bit too much credit to Coffee Bean, and it was more likely that the barista was a moron, since I had asked for a medium latte with only a single shot (as opposed to the usual double shot that comes in a medium). The response to this request had been…

“Would you like that in a small cup?”

Uh, what?! Wouldn’t that make it just a small latte?

Me: “No. Just a medium latte with a single shot, please.”

Barista: “Oh you just want extra milk,” she said happily, having solved the mystery of the single-shot medium latte.

At this point she can see that I am about to explode, so she tries to explain her logic.

Barista: “I am just trying to make sure.”

Make sure of what?! For the love of God, how complicated is making a latte and only putting one less shot of espresso in it?

Apparently, coffee doesn’t increase your chances of a heart attack; it’s the people who serve it to you.

Note: This has happened on more than one occasion. Can someone please explain this to me? Perhaps one of you works at Coffee Bean.

A mother passing by her daughter’s bedroom was astonished to see the bed was nicely made and everything was picked up. Then she saw an envelope propped up prominently on the center of the bed. It was addressed, “Mom.” With the worst premonition, she opened the envelope and read the letter with trembling hands:

Dear Mom: It is with great regret and sorrow that I’m writing you. I had to elope with my new boyfriend because I wanted to avoid a scene with Dad and you. I’ve been finding real passion with John and he is so nice-even with all his piercings, tattoos, beard, and his motorcycle clothes. But it’s not only the passion Mom, I’m pregnant and John said that we will be very happy. He already owns a trailer in the woods and has a stack of firewood for the whole winter. He wants to have many more children with me and that’s now one of my dreams too. John taught me that marijuana doesn’t really hurt anyone and we’ll be growing it for us and trading it with his friends for all the cocaine and ecstasy we want. In the meantime, we’ll pray that science will find a cure for AIDS so John can get better; he sure deserves it!! Don’t worry Mom, I’m 15 years old now and I know how to take care of myself. Someday I’m sure we’ll be back to visit so you can get to know your grand children.

didnt take many cause we were too busy doing other stuff :D

played captain's ball, but sand was SUPEEERRRRR hot! burnt my feet!
and i got bored really fast, sports just ain't my thing
leonard went into the water after captain's ball and wet his pants, HAHAH!
though he brought a change of clothes, he didnt bring underwear
or a plastic bag for dirty/wet clothes.
so he paraded around with his wet pants in his hands. sleek.

the girls [me, sharon, clara, liying, yijun, yanjie, jiaen, wanxuan]
chased the boys away and played TruthOrDare

sharon held a 2-minute conversation with a green dustbin
yijun hugged a tree and sang a self-composed song
clara shouted ILOVEYOU from halfway across the bridge

but it soon became truth only cause we didnt dare do what yijun suggested..
had a great time gossiping chatting :D

made a date with yanjie and yijun to go shopping
at bugis after i return from kuching :D
